+ Fanlisting?
According to The Fanlistings Network, a fanlisting is "a
place for all fans of a particular show, movie, actor, actress, singer, etc.
to come together and build the biggest listing of people from all around the
world who are fans of that subject.". So, it's just exactly what
it says: a list of fans. Maybe you think it isn't a specially useful thing...
But isn't something good showing to the world your devotion and love for a
determinate character, actor, book or whatever? So, this is what you do when
you join a fanlisting ^^ And, of course, you can always have the chance to
meet other people who like the same you do... and that's always great, isn't
it?
+ Warsman
The first appearance of Warsman is during the Second Choujin
Olympics; in fact, he's kind of the star of this saga. His fight
versus Ramen man is remembered as one of the most cruels in the whole series
(at least for me, it is), and he arrived to the final match in which he fought
versus Kinnikuman - and was defeated by him.
Warsman was, along this tournament, trained by a mysterious
(and a little sadistic, I must say ^^U) man known as Barracuda, who turned
Warsman to a mad killer machine. Later (and WARNING, spoilers following!)
we discovered that Barracuda wasn't other than Robin Mask, who after the
death of his wife devoted his life to defeat Kinnikuman, and
used Warsman as a mortal weapon for this purpose. When Warsman finally lost
after an exciting match, he -and Robin as well- discovered the true power
of friendship; and since that moment, they would be by the side of Kinnikuman,
fighting together against the evil and protecting the Earth.
Warsman never was an evil character. He's half-android,
so when he was a kid he was lonely because everyone rejected him. Throughout
his life, he was beaten up and picked on one time and another, so he turned
to wrestling because at least there he could fight back. Then he met Robin
Mask, and when Robin promised him that, if he trained him, Warsman would become
the most powerful choujin ever, he just accepted, because it was the only
chance he had of becoming "someone". After losing against Kinnikuman,
Warsman showed he was actually good, when he forgave Robin for using him only
as a weapon for revenge; and, in fact, after that incident, they
would have a very special relationship, being best friends forever.
Another interesting thing about Warsman is that he took a very
special part in the Golden Mask saga, because his robo-choujin body was the
place that contained the rings used for the different matches between the
good and the evil chojin (yes, as weird as it sounds ^^U). He's one of the
characters of the series that, also, died during the Akuma Chojin saga, being
resurrected later thanks to Buffaloman himself (and I suppose that's a little
ironic considering that Buffaloman was the one who killed him).
The most famous special technique of Warsman is called Bear
claw - and that's because I've named the fanlisting Bearclaw, of course ^_^
