Fanlisting...

According to TFL, a fanlisting is "a place for all fans of a particular show, movie, actor, actress, singer, etc. to come together and build the biggest listing of people from all around the world who are fans of that subject.". So, it's just exactly what it says: a list of fans. Maybe you think it isn't a specially useful thing... But isn't something good showing to the world your devotion and love for a determinate character, actor, book or whatever? So, this is what you do when you join a fanlisting ^^ And, of course, you can always have the chance to meet other people who like the same you do... and that's always a great thing ^^

Why Kinnikuman?

When I first watched the Kinnikuman anime on TV, I was about ten years old or even less. I was just a child. And when you're a child, you're always in need of heroes, even if they're purely fictional, you don't care because they're still people you can admire because they're so strong, so brave... I bet you know what I mean ^^ And I think that's why I feel something special towards most of the Kinnikuman characters: because for a long time, they were my heroes - somehow. Seeing them fighting the devil forces and always winning, because they stayed united, no matter what... I loved that. To my eyes, it was simply amazing, what the power of friendship could do ^^;

I also must say that I'm a fan of Kinnikuman because is one of the anime series that has made me laugh the most ever. It's so damned fun for me, even when some people say it's a rather silly humor I can't help bursting out laughing everytime Kinnikuman does his rice & cow dance, or starts acting like an idiot ^^U I don't know how the series should be classifed (under which genre I mean), but I guess saying it's an humorous manga would be quite right. After all, it's a pure shônen title: a big dose of action and a little bit of humor... just that, in this case, isn't a little bit - but a huge part ;)

I've always been searching for other people who liked Kinnikuman as well, maybe because I didn't know many other fans... and the ones I knew didn't seem to be as obsessed as I was ^^U Since I got online I've been looking for more information about the manga and anime (hard task, as most of the Kinnikuman sites are in Japanese and I just know some random words in that language x_x), and later I thought about building a website about it, to share my knowledge, material and meet other Kinnikufans all over the world. And now this is what I'm doing, for the time being trying to build here the biggest list of Kinnikuman fans ever. So if you're also a fan, please, join and show your support! ^^

Site layout

This is the first layout I've made on my own: until now, I was using the one Toshi made before adopting the fanlisting out. It isn't great, but is good enough. I think *unsure*

The fonts used are Georgia for the text and Impact for the fanlisting title. I've made everything using, as always, Photoshop and Dreamweaver. I've scanned myself the image from one of the cards in the Kinnikuman Choujin Collection set I own; you can see in it, from top to bottom: Sunshine, Kinnikuman, Kinnikuman Great and Ashuraman. The pic represents one of the Kinnikuman special techniques, the Muscle Docking, during the match between the Kinnikuman & Kinnikuman Great team vs. the Sunshine & Ashuraman team, in the Dream Tag Team Championship.
