Fanlisting?
According to The Fanlistings Network, a fanlisting is "a place for all fans of a particular show, movie, actor, actress, singer, etc. to come together and build the biggest listing of people from all around the world who are fans of that subject.". So, it's just exactly what it says: a list of fans. Maybe you think it isn't a specially useful thing... But isn't something good showing to the world your devotion and love for a determinate character, actor, book or whatever? So, this is what you do when you join a fanlisting ^^ And, of course, you can always have the chance to meet other people who like the same you do... and that's always great, isn't it?
Blocken Junior in Kinnikuman (first series)
The first appearance of Blocken Junior is during the Second Choujin Olympics, supposedly at the age of 18 (or that's the info I have ^^;;;). His father Blocken man had died during the First Choujin Olympics at the hands of Ramen man in a very violent match (1), so he came back for revenge. Ramen man and him fought then in a cement-ring death match; finally, Ramen man was the winner. But, while his father was a "bad" super hero, Blocken Junior showed almost immediately that he was different.. He understood that revenge was useless - and, that if he that if he continued looking for it, he would never become stronger and powerful as he wanted.
After that match, Blocken Jr. and Ramen man became friends, and he would remain as well on the side of Kinnikuman, fighting against the evil and protecting the Earth.
Blocken was always a very important character in the series, and his matches were almost the most spectacular ones - for example, the one versus the Ninja in the Golden Mask saga, in which he was really near to death.
As all the choujins, he has some special own techniques. The one he uses the most is named in Japanese Berlin no Akai Ame (Red Rain of Berlin, a.k.a Baron's Red Rain); this is why I've named as this the fanlisting. ^_^
In Kinnikuman Nisei
WARNING: of course, this section contains some spoilers. Don't read if you haven't watched Kinnikuman Nisei - or if you don't know a little about what happens in the series, at least.
Once the protectors of Earth, the Legendary Choujins (Robin Mask, Ramen man, Buffalo man...) were called to educate the new generation choujins, so they are all trainers in the Hercules Factory. Blocken was a trainer there too, but he left and returned to Earth, even when everyone wanted him to stay because he was the best trainer the Hercules Factory ever had.
These days there was peace on Earth because the Evil Choujin had been at last defeated. The fighting spirit was so very important for Blocken, he really needed to fight - so the lack of fighting drove him into depression, not being able to compete any more and becoming a wino. One day he returned to his mother's house in Germany, and found there a young boy who told him he wanted to be trained by the great Blocken Jr. Blocken finally accepted, and that is how he became Jade's trainer.

Nazi Say it, and you're dead >_<
I've always liked Blocken a lot, since the beginning. I think I couldn't be able to explain why exactly, but I thing he's a really amazing character. And because of that there's a thing that pisses me off a lot: when people call him a nazi. Becuase it's not true... he's on the good side. People love him as the good choujin he is and people is not that stupid, after all.
Kinnikuman is an humorous manga. In fact, it is very ironic - we can find a lot of clichés in the choujins, for example when the choujin from India is kind of a Curry-man (and everybody knows that curry is a very typical indian food). Or Ramenman himself, when "ramen" are the chinese noodles. Or Rikishiman, who's Japanese and is dressed like a sumo wrestler. I mean, every choujin seems to look (or to act) according to one typical fact of his country (or according to the idea others have of this country, we should say), and this is one of the funny things about this series, though it can sound silly now that I'm saying it. After all, they're little things that make sense: I've always thought that this is also the reason because Buffalo man is the Spanish choujin or Robin Mask wears an armour (a red and blue armour, so with the colours of the UK flag), for example...and because Blocken Jr. is dressed with a military uniform too. The thing is, he's dressed with an uniform very similar to the one the nazis wore... But he's not a nazi, though his father was (and he was a bad guy, I swear; he was only in one anime episode I think, but I thought he was really disgusting at first sight T_T) Blocken Junior is on the good side, the hero's side, the side of the ones who protect from the evil every person in the Earth. I mean, we should not misjudge him only for his clothes/character design... I think it's VERY unappropiate that he wears the svastika in his clothes sometimes in the series, agree; but if you remember carefully you'll see he wore it in the beginning... but no more in the end of the anime... or that's what I remember O_o
Anyway, my conclusion is that Blockenman, the father, yes, was nazi... his son wanted to revenge his death, and they designed the son so he looked like his father a lot, and they did it on purpose. But I think they did this whole thing just because they wanted to show that even someone that has grown up with an evil father can become a good person... and they used one of the "typical" disgusting idelogies, the nazism, to show that. And because both characters were German... well... did I mention the lot of cliches existing in Kinnikuman?
Well, that's all, I think. And actually it's ridiculous, but I just wanted to mention it because I don't want anyone saying to me things like "How can do you like this guy if he's a nazi?", when it's not true - that I like nazis, or that he is a nazi. I would be truly offended if someone thought I can like someone close to any nazi ideas, because I've always thought that this kind of people have a serious mental illness for saying the things they say and having the beliefs they have >_<
(1) I've seen the match in the
manga and in the anime. And in the anime it was softer, kind of fun because
it showed Ramen man converting Blockenman in chinese noodles and eating him
^^U In the anime, Ramenman broke Blocken man's body in half and the whole
ring ended covered with blood ·_·
